The Terry Byrne Memorial Scholarship

Honoring breath. Honoring life. Honoring legacy.

The Terry Byrne Memorial Scholarship was created in loving memory of Terrence David Byrne, a passionate believer in holistic wellness and the healing power of breath. In 2020, Terry suffered a sudden brain aneurysm that shifted the course of our lives. During the 37 sacred hours following his injury, we used gentle, conscious breathwork—together—as a way to calm the nervous system, remain present, and support his body naturally without medical sedation. Through breath, love, and stillness, Terry was able to pass peacefully, fully aware, and on his own terms.

His death—and the sacred, breath-filled space that surrounded it—became the seed of this work. It revealed the capacity of the breath to carry us through trauma, grief, and even into death itself with dignity and peace.

This scholarship was created to carry that legacy forward. To request an application please email
