The Origin of The BreathBreak Method™

Born from loss. Refined through study. Offered in love.
The BreathBreak Method™ was not just created—it was lived, breathed, and gently assembled from the deepest layers of personal transformation and professional devotion.
Several years ago, I became a 500-hour certified meditation teacher, expanding my path with mindfulness, presence practices, and somatic stillness. As my curiosity deepened, I immersed myself in understanding the human nervous system—how the body holds memory, how the breath shapes emotion, and how trauma lives silently beneath our awareness. I studied neuro-linguistic programming, hypnotherapy, various psychology-based certifications, and diverse modalities in the healing arts.
In 2020, my life shifted irreversibly. My husband died suddenly of a brain aneurysm, and the shock of that loss launched me into an extended state of trauma and grief. My nervous system defaulted into survival mode—fight, flight, freeze on repeat. Eventually, I was diagnosed with a hyperactive dorsal vagal nerve, a revelation that helped me name the immobilization I’d been feeling for years.
I dove headfirst into somatic healing, breath-based trauma recovery, and Polyvagal Theory. What emerged was this method—a deeply integrative, trauma-informed, body-led practice that weaves together everything I’ve learned and lived.
The BreathBreak Method™ is an invitation to return home to yourself. It’s not a replacement for conventional care—many journeys need that too—but it’s a simple, potent way to gently explore your inner landscape. To find where trauma resides, and with care, rhythm, and breath, allow your body to soften. To feel safe again. To move toward homeostasis, wholeness, and healing—naturally.
This program is born from my story, but it’s for yours. I’m honored beyond words to now share it with you.
